Laser Tattoo Removal

At DASHINKA we use a medical grade Q-Swich ND YAG Laser from AW3® King of Lasers called Flash Ink MD for all of our treatments.
 
In person consultations are mandatory prior to your first treatment session. Consultations cost £10, usually last no more than 30 Minutes and consist of a questionnaire to determine the best laser setting for your skin type and patch test to ensure no adverse reaction to the laser.
 
We offer two types of treatment plan.
A minimum of 6 weeks is required between treatments.
A 20% booking fee is required to secure each session.
 
1. Laser Removal. This treatment is intended to remove the tattoo in full.
The treatment plan usually takes between 4 – 6 sessions (some times longer depending the tattoo age, condition, colour composition).
 
2. Laser Prep. This treatment is NOT intended to remove the tattoo in full, instead fades the tattoo so that its easier to cover-up with another tattoo.

After your treatment, you will be provided with full aftercare instructions.

Booking Process

  1. Contact us via the form on the home page.
  2. A member of the team will be in touch to discuss available dates and time for your consultation.
  3. Once the date and time of your appointment has been agreed, we will send you a link to pay the £10 Consultation fee. 
  4. You’ll receive email notification that your booking is confirmed.

Prepare for Your Appointment

  1. Arrive showered, and in comfortable loose fitting clothing.
  2. NO CHILDREN are allowed in the treatment area.
  3. DO NOT consume alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment.
  4. DO NOT use sun-beds a minimum of 30 days prior to treatment.
  5. DO NOT sun bathe a minimum of 30 days prior to treatment.
  6. DO NOT use tanning cream a minimum of 30 days prior to treatment.
  7. DO NOT Wax the treatment area.
  8. PLEASE shave the treatment area on the day of treatment but prior to your appointment.

Laser Tattoo Removal Consultation

  1. Arrive for your appointment on time.
  2. You will be asked a number of questions by our clinician regarding your skin and how it reacts in different situations. This is to help determine the correct setting for the Laser.
  3. A patch test will be performed on your tattoo. This is 1 – 2 shots with the laser to ensure there is no adverse reaction.
  4. You can book your first session 3 – 4 days after the patch test. A 20% booking fee applies to all sessions.

Laser Tattoo Removal Process

  1. Arrive for your appointment on time.
  2. Complete the consent form.
  3. Your clinician will prepare the treatment area.
  4. You will be asked to wear protective glasses (this is mandatory).
  5. Your clinician will start the treatment which consists of small number of shots with the laser followed by cooling of the area.
  6. The treatment will continue as above until all of the treatment area has been treated.
  7. Your Clinician will ask you to remove your protective glasses.
  8. Your clinician will wrap the treatment area using medical dressing.
  9. You will be given aftercare instructions to take home.
  10. If required, you can book your next appointment.

Aftercare

Its's YOUR Responsibility!

  1. ALWAYS wash your hands before touching the treatment area.
  2. The use of 100% Aloe Vera gel is recommended directly after treatment.
  3. The use of 100% Aloe Vera gel can be used for a further few days after treatment if required.
  4. A cold compress can be used if the area feels hot or uncomfortable.
  5. A high SPF 30+ should be applied when outside for 4 weeks after treatment.
  6. Avoid, steam rooms, saunas, hot baths / showers.
  7. Avoid excessive exercise.
  8. DO NOT use anti-inflammatory products for a minimum of 7 days after treatment.
  9. NEVER expose the treatment area to unclean conditions.
